WE ARE FEW DAYS AWAY FROM THE START
The Official list of teams attending to Best 5 Carp 2015 – 17-22 May 2015 here: OFFICIAL LIST
Due to the increasing number of requests from both teams from abroad as well as from Romanian teams, and given the various underwater structures that the lake has we have decided to amend the rule allowing entering in the water two persons: one drilling the fish and the other one handling the fish net or two members handling a double drill in the same time from the water. However there is a depth limit: up to the hip.
Q: How many members a team can have?
A: A team can have up to 3 members with full fishing rights. However team runners are allowed for an additional fee of 50€.
Q: What are the roles for a team runner?
A: A team runner can do anything that is not related to fishing in action. For example a team runner cannot assist with the landing net in a drill, cannot actively drill, cannot launch the rods charge or throw bait. A team runner can help in the daily peg’s non-fishing related activities.
Q: How many rods can a team use?
A: You are allowed to use up to 6 active rods.
Q: What kind of bait can we use?
A: You are allowed with any kind of bait but no live bait. You are allowed to use the Spomb, bait rocket, bait sticks, bait slings, catapults.
Q: Are we allowed to enter in the water and when?
A: Only one person can be in the water for handling the fish during the drill or landing the fish with a fishnet while in the water. Baiting and any other activities related are required to be made from the bank.
Because of the structures in the water and bank mud, it is mandatory to wear a pair of waders. Avoid entering in the water with bare foots.

A: The draw for the peg draw order will take place on Sunday in the same time with the team accreditation. The peg draw will take place on Sunday at 10.00AM and the competition will begin in the same day at 1.00PM.
Q: Why do we have to arrive with a day before the start of the competition?
A: We are requiring all teams presence on Saturday, May16 for the team accreditation and number order draw (between 8.00AM-6.00PM ). Don’t forget the opening party.
Q: Are we allowed to use boilies paste or any other kind of bait on to the lead?
A: No, placing pastures on the lead is completely forbidden. In fact all the feeder types, lead feeders, etc… are completely forbidden.
Q: What kind of lines we can use? (main line)
A: You can use mono lines for the main line and 8 meters of braided line for the shock leader.
Q: What are the kind of carps that are counting in the final rankings?
P: Common carp, Mirror carp, Grass carp and Black carp. However if a team doesn’t count a total of 5 fish at the end of the competition then they will only be able to apply for the Biggest Fish trophy or the biggest Grass carp of the competition.
Q: How do we reach the chosen peg?
A: All the begs will have specific branded marking plates and the paths to the peg range will be signaled with road personalized road signs.
Q: Can we visit neighbor pegs ?
A: Yes, team members are allowed to visit neighbor pegs during the day, but they have to respect the peg’s limits, unless they are invited within the peg’s limits by the team that fishes on it.
We want to thank you all for your participation, we are eager to meet you all on Saturday 16 May at Sarulesti Lake, Raduta Hotel.
